Our Founder.
We were founded by award-winning session hairstylist Anna Cofone, who has been working in the creative industry for over 20 years. As well as working closely with celebrities such as Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa, her work is regularly featured in leading fashion publications and luxury brand campaigns.
Anna launched the Hair & Care initiative in 2019, inspired by her personal experience of growing up with a father who was blind and a desire to share skills and advice within a community that can often be unseen and disconnected from fashion and beauty industries.

The Inspiration.
“Growing up, the importance of self-care was a constant reminder. My father was blind and I vividly remember people often complimenting his appearance, he never left home without a suit and tie, his hair groomed and his shoes always shined.
Looking back I realise that this was his own personal way of helping himself to feel seen.
Since his passing, it has been a lifelong goal to use my skills in hairdressing to help empower and inspire people with disabilities, particularly those who are blind, or have low vision.”

Our Team.
Our team is made up of an amazing group of top hair professionals with years of experience within the industry, and specialisation across all hair textures and hair needs. We are part of an expanded network of hair care industry experts - from salon owners to independent session hairstylists - who want to give back to our community, and bridge the gap of inclusivity from within.
Our volunteers receive special training sessions before participating in our workshops, in order to prepare them in providing care in the best possible way. These sessions cover our strict code of conduct and guidelines for safeguarding.
